This year the allthingsproper east coast fam flew out to Cali for a few days to experience autocon for the first time live. The variety of cars at autocon was the best. From old Japanese nostalgia to Lamborghini’s and Ferrari’s. One of our favorites though that really stood out was the Liberty Walk performance BMW M3. Such an aggressive look, like nothing we have seen before. Once of the announcers actually mentioned that the car will be shipped back to Japan and staying there. We were just glad to have had the chance to see it on our trip.

So I use to pass this bagged subaru wrx at this office building a few months back. Decided to leave him a allthingsproper sticker with some contact info because I just had to take some pictures of it. It was a white sti on bronze work emotion xd9s. Joe ended up getting in contact with me and we chatted back a fourth for a bit. Unfortunately, Joe ended up selling the sti so we never got around to snapping pictures of it. Instead Joe picked up a Brz and decided to put it on air. With his CCW’s finally on we got busy down at our local boat launch for some pictures.
Joe’s Brz has a few tasteful mods already, even though he is not quite finished. The TRD wing along with the Beatsonic shark fin are clean touches.
We love how clean Joe’s air set-up is. All tucked underneath so he still has some available trunk space.

My second coming to this event and it seems to be even better than the last time. Our buddy Kevin has gotten significantly better than last time we watched him. This time around Kevin is no longer NA. Kevin replaced his old engine with an SR20 swap giving the car a little more power. Our other buddy Dan as well as Edwin, Squid, Danny, Steve, Richie and Vinnie were all there giving it their most. I worked with all these guys when I was working for a Honda dealership in our local town. Seeing what these guys do really makes you want to try and drift. Once you get the hang of it your fun is endless. I wanted to get a video but all I had packed was my Canon 30D so still’s are all I got this time. Next year once the events start up again allthingsproper will be there hopefully with some new gear to really show you guys what these kids are about.

Coverage from this years First Class Fitment event held by Canibeat.com.

For the third year in a row Canibeat has held their First Class Fitment event at Princeton airport in New Jersey. The past 2 were filled with the most pristine quality cars with some of the most dopest crews around the tri-state. Liberty VIP always rolls through ultra hard with Rob, the founder and his GS300. This year I was unable to make it due to work complications but instead I let my good friend Odayne borrow my gear and let him do work. The quality this year from the pics looks just as good as the previous years. This is becoming one of those events you do not want to miss! The environment in general is badass. Cars throughout the airport, inside hangers and posted up on the run way!

I will always love these ever since the first fast and the furious. It’s too bad Dom’s Rx7 didn’t look a little more like this though. Ranj has his lowered on Stance GR+ Coils with a mean set of Work Vsxx’s. Fitting 18×10 in the front and 18×11 in the rear. I have a soft spot for these wheels on no matter what car they are put on but the gold against this flawless red is perfect. Ranj also has 3 inch custom blast pipes out the back and a HKS 3 inch downpipe as well. Ranj told us his future plans for the car are an intake, remove cat and get a good tune for it.

Quite an aggressive stance. Ranj told us both front and rear offsets are negative.

Back at a SolFresh meet where I snapped photos of Mitchell’s Q, I also managed to snap some of Jr’s beautiful M. The last time we saw it it looked like this.

Along with the new set of CCW LM20s he switched it up and put on a matching color hardtop which I think completed the look. Although I love verts, hardtops always look better than soft. *pause* Our previous post showed us an E36 with a set of CCW’s as well but classics.


White bolts on chrome faces and chrome lips. Complete with the infamous Projoect Kicks Neo Chrome Lug nuts which I am a big fan of. Mainly because they look good against almost any sort of wheel.

The lineage of the BMW M3 would be a prime example in the execution of the philosophy behind this quote. Ever improving, BMW has made strides keeping the M3 on top of its competition. Dubbed the “Ultimate Driving Machine,” it would seem almost futile for somebody to try and tinker with what the mad German scientists in white lab coats have already accomplished.

Leave it to Bobby Del Bello of White Plains, NY to try just that. A perfectionist at heart, Bobby has a track record of building impeccable examples of modified automobiles. Before this, he had built an all motor B18C-powered EM1 that used to beat up on the more expensive racers at the local trackdays. That Civic eventually met its untimely demise which totaled it, and left Bobby looking for something new.
While in college at Purdue University, the RWD bug bit and sent Bobby to pursue something completely different than he already knew. A mint condition, one owner 1998 BMW M3 caught his eye and the rest was history. He acquired the M3, signed up at the local events and took it out there to learn his new car.

Soon after, the Ultimate Driving Machine needed more to keep up with Bobby’s increasing skills. Within a period of seven years, he a took a well-mannered performance street car and turned into the track beast you see now. Every piece of hardware was replaced with brand new OEM BMW, and virtually every suspension component was powdercoated to bring it back to its new finish. To compliment the OEM bling factor within the suspension , Bobby added AST coilovers (550F/650R) with Vorshlag camber plates and Eibach sway bars. He also purchased SPC camber arms, and a retrofitted Z3 steering rack. To slow down and grip, he purchased a StopTech 332mm big brake kit and stainless lines that hide behind a squared set of bright dip anodized grey CCW Classics (17×9.5) mated to a set of meaty Dunlop Star Specs. Diffsonline was employed to completely fortify a differential featuring shorter 3.46 gears, 3 clutch packs, and modified ramp angles for different lock up accelerating or slowing down. This was all topped off with a gorgeous Rogue Engineering finned differential cover.

To really kick off this high level build, Bobby shaved, tucked, and resprayed the entire engine bay. He also completely rebuilt the S52 engine to OEM specifications. However while keeping his mind on the track, he was influenced to include a baffled S54 oil pan and dual pickup S54 oil pump. He also converted to the European only self-bleeding expansion tank complimented by a Stewart high performance water pump and 16″ SPAL fan to help overcome the overheating issues he may encounter while racing. To help the motor breathe, Bobby added an M50 intake manifold highlighted by a Riot Racing big bore throttle body. The intake tract comes together fully with a Bimmerworld 3.5″ Silicone Boot, Porsche 3.5 MAF sensor and a Dinan intake. On the exhaust side, he fitted a set of shorty headers that flow to an Active Autowerke track pipe and Gen 3 catback exhaust system.

Some people say that true beauty is on the inside which is why Bobby installed a gorgeous set of leather/alcantara wrapped Recaro Pole Positions, alcantara Sparco steering wheel and an OEM ZHP shift knob. The shift boot, e-brake boot, pillars, and even the headliner were all redone in alcantara, and this all complimented by the custom made exterior paint matched roll bar. The exterior means business, as soon as you can spot the Motion Motorsports adjustable front splitter, radiator duct, and underpanel. The rest of the exterior remains pretty much stock to the untrained eye, unless of course you could pick up on the smoked corners, taillights, side markers and matte black kidney grilles.

No car is perfect, as they are built, designed, and modified by imperfect people. However, certain individuals desire a level of excellence that seems to only be attained by some sort of divine intervention. The owner of this vehicle has already taken something considered “perfect” and made it look and perform even better than its original engineers intended. This is what happens when function meets form.

The dudes from Solfresh are always killing it but my dude Mitchell is really doing it with this Q45. Daily driven in the streets of the bronx this bagged Q is one of a kind and sure to make necks turn. Sitting on a set of Leon Hardiritt Orden Super Stars. (which I have a soft spot for) After the gathering at the meet I pulled mitchell and his Q aside for some pics.

Being that it’s daily driven by Mitchell the car is in pristine condition aside from minor bumper scrapes.
