FLAT OUT!
In our travels to the SHG website release party, we got the opportunity to visit the Flatout Motorsports compound thanks to Evan of SoHonda Garage. Located in Bellingham, Massachusetts, FOM has been involved in the autocross/road race scene for 15 years. Specializing in Spec Miata racing since 2004, their shop is sure to pull on the strings of any Miata lovers heart. From building custom roll cages to renting whole race cars, Flatout is your go to place for everything Spec-Miata. Although they are known for building SM prepared cars, the garage is also home to a couple RX-7′s and their most recent project S2000 that runs in SCCA’s ITR class. The shop is littered with spare motors, body panels, and the tools every true enthusiast dreams of. There is just something about weathered track cars that just never gets old! Stay tuned for the rest of this past weekends coverage as we talk about the latest car being built at FOM….

This S2000 is driven and owned by one of the owners of FOM.

A peek inside of one of the Miatas.

Just a few of the Miatas at the shop.

Got to sit in this badass FD rx7 and had a hell of a time getting in and out of it.

I was amazed at the array of parts they had lying around the shop.

A Buddyclub exhaust laying around.

A set of Kosei K1′s wrapped in Hoosier tires.

Organization is the key to any successful shop.

Evan’s custom SHG dip stick tensioners.

A view from the loft of the shop.

Another Miata just waiting to be pushed to its limits.
