Benny’s Eg6.

Benny’s eg6. A little timeline from the start to the end.

Most of you might not know yet, but yes Benny has sold his hatch. After about 4 years of owning the car Benny decided it was time to move on. I was there from day one when he picked it up, to the day we dropped it off to the new owner 3 and a half hours into New Jersey through a nor’ eastern snow storm. I can honestly say I didn’t think it would turn out the way it did. Over our long winters we have here in New York, Chris our good friend was the one who did Benny’s body work to his engine bay as well as paint. Endless amount of hours in the cold garage, chain smoking packs of Camel turkish silvers and some recreational ganja here and there are what kept us going. It didn’t stop after the bay was finished. Benny then went onto his wheel set-up where he wanted a wide look. Our buddy Miro owner of “Jsutai Automotive” was there to help guide him through the whole set-up from sizing to stretching of tires and alignment. After the wheels he purchased a few other parts and decided it was done. We traveled a good amount this summer to events such as Import Alliance in Baltimore Maryland, and Canibeat.com’s First Class Fitment event in Princeton, New Jersey. So here it is in a nutshell…Benny’s Eg6. Enjoy.

Going back to when it first got to the importer himself Kareem “Kotic” Ali in Toronto.

How it looked when Benny was residing out in Connecticut for a bit.

The car at Import Alliance 2009, in Nashville Tennessee. After the summer of 09 is when the work the bay was started.

The beginning of the tear down process!

Filled, sanded and primed!

The finished product at one of the SHG|Solfresh BBQs.

And then the photos I snapped at Import Alliance. We managed to snag a spot right by the water away from some people.

Who knows what Benny will get into next. We will just have to wait and see. :)
